CADIZ — Christine Cain, 66, of Cadiz died Monday at Lourdes hospital.

She was retired from Johnson Control, a member of Canton Baptist Church, a member of the Relay for Life planning committee, and a volunteer for Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Brett D. Cain of Cadiz; one daughter, Cyndi Broyles of Gainesboro, Tenn.; one brother, John Pruitt of Lakeland, Ga.; four sisters, Diane Montague of Valdosta, Ga., Evelyn Bennett of Adel, Ga., Martha Jean Solomon of Nashville, Ga., and Waulden Newbern of Waycross, Ga., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Cain; three brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were Fred and Sadie Inez Carter Pruitt.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at King’s Funeral Home with the Revs. Paul Cannon and Damian Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in Trigg Memory Acres. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
