CLINTON — Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Ray of Clinton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. March 18 at Columbus-Belmont State Park Activities Building. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Ray and the former Brenda Lee Kestner were married March 17, 1962, by the Rev. Allen B. Cooper in Charleston, Mo. Their attendants were Sammy and Carolyn Howard.

Mrs. Ray is the daughter of the late Eurie “Butch” and Gretna Kestner.

Mr. Ray is a farmer with Ray Farms in Clinton. He is the son of the late Ed and Tress Ray.

They are the parents of Steve Ray and Kevin Ray, both of Columbus. They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
