MARION — Charles William Knight Sr., 74, of Marion died February 15, 2013, at Tradewater Health and Rehabilitation.

He is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Ann McDowell, Kay Tinsley, Rhonda Tinsley, and Reba Todd, all of Marion; two sons, Charles W. “Billy” Knight of Hinkley, Minn., and Donald Knight of Marion; two sisters, Beverly Shephard of Georgia and Barbara Pearson of Henderson; one brother, Lindle “Pete” Knight of Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Knight; two daughters, Roberta and Roella Knight; and two grandchildren. His parents were Jessie and Margaret Knight.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013, at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crowell Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the service time Monday at the funeral home.
