FREDONIA — Charles Crayne, 84, of Fredonia died Friday at his home.

He was a retired farmer and self-employed carpenter, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Shady Grove Masonic Lodge and Shady Grove Order of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Morgan Crayne; three sons, Mike Crayne of Princeton, Morgan Crayne of Sebree, and Roy Crayne of Eddyville; four daughters, TaJuana Davis, Pam Hudson and Angie Wood, all of Princeton, and Terri Brown of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sara Eison of Madisonville.

His parents were Roy Franklin and Myrtle Brown Crayne.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Terry Davis, Gerald Cannon and Randy Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Fork Cemetery in Crittenden County.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
