GRAND RIVERS — Chad Allan Scott, 25, of Grand Rivers died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at his home.

He was a graduate of Marshall County High School, a welder for Three Rivers Barge Co. of Ledbetter and a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffery A. Scott of Calvert City and Elaine (Schulte) Winebrenner of Sterling, Ill.; one brother, Kyle Lee Winebrenner of Sterling; one sister, Crystal Dawn Scott of Dixon, Ill.; and his grandmothers, Frances Schulte of Grand Detour, Ill., and Sharon Scott of Grand Rivers.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Elmer Schulte and Keith M. Scott.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Grand Rivers Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Gill officiating.

Collier Funeral Home of Benton is in charge of arrangements.
