Carolyn Jean Rhew, 58, of Reidland passed away at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center of Mayfield.

Carolyn was a Retired School Teacher at Christian Fellowship in Draffenville, Ky., held a Bachelors of Science Degree from Murray State University, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge # 917 in Symsonia, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and Salt & Light Community Church of Paducah where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Board of Directors.

She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Rhew of Reidland; one daughter, Janet Michele Rhew of Reidland; her father, David E. Williams of Symsonia; her mother, Shirley Holland Rudd of Ledbetter; one brother, Carl Williams and wife Jamie of Nashville, Tenn.; and two nephews, Wyatt Williams and Xander Williams, both of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by one son, David Rhew.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. James Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery in Marshall County. In Lieu of a visitation there will be a gathering held at Salt & Light Community Church after the burial, all are welcome.
