CADIZ — Carlene Calhoun Kennedy, 88, of Cadiz died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Trigg County Hospital.

She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship and a retired LPN from Trigg County Hospital.

She is survived by one son, Jim Kennedy of Newburgh, Ind.; three daughters, Patricia Williams of Eddyville, and Wanda Birdsong and Trudy Allen, both of Cadiz; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Lucian Kennedy; three sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were Tandy Harrison “Jack” and Trudy Gordon Puckett Calhoun.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Geoff Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
