CADIZ — Brian David Gaffney, 62, of Cadiz died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Gaffney was a retired machinist from Caterpillar and a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era.

He is survived by one son, David Gaffney of Peoria, Ill.; one daughter, Kelly Gaffney of Peoria; one sister, Lynne Willey of Washington, Ill.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His parents were Joseph Darwin and Roberta Drury Gaffney.

There will be no services.
