Mr. and Mrs. William Earl Boren of Paducah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Mr. Boren and the former Brenda L. Wheatley were married June 27, 1962, by the Rev. A.B. Cooper in Charleston, Mo. Their attendants were Audley A. Brown and Mrs. Mary Wheatley, mother of the bride.

Mrs. Boren is the daughter of the late John B. Wheatley and the late Mary Ousley Wheatley.

Mr. Boren is the son of the late William Lester Boren and the late Marie Boren Ford.

They are the parents of Lisa Boren Fay of Paducah and David Earl Boren of Bardwell. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
