MURRAY — Services for Billy “Monk” Hendon, 63, of the New Providence community, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray with John Dale officiating. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery.

Mr. Hendon died Sunday at his home.

He was a farmer and a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Barbara Sue Alexander Hendon; his daughter, Cassie Elene Hendon of Murray; his son, Billy Joe Hendon of Murray; and one sister, Marsha Hendon Dale of Murray.

His parents were William Edwin and Dorval Fields Hendon.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
