Bill H. Petterson, 85, of Paducah, died at 9:47 a.m. Saturday at his residence.

Bill was a native of Mayfield and was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was the owner of A to Z Antique Shop and worked as a security officer. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.

Surviving are his two sons, Billy Joe Petterson and wife JoAnn of Paducah and David Gerald Petterson of Boaz; four grandchildren, David Gerald Petterson II, Cheryl Renae Petterson, Kara Petterson, and Amber Petterson; and one great-grandchild, Alexandria Petterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lexine Petterson; one son, PFC Charles Stanley Petterson; one sister; and his parents, Nealy Petterson and Eva Moore Petterson.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
