Betty Jo Rucks, 85, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Gaither Suites in Paducah.

Mrs. Rucks was a retired postal worker.

Surviving are two daughters, Christina (Mike) Bonnell of Gilbertsville and Nancy (Dennis) English of Palma; three grandchildren, Andrea (Robert) Beavers of Paducah, Thomas Bonnell of Gilbertsville, Elijah English of Palma; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Bass and Helen M. (Stafford) Bass; her husband, Thomas J. Rucks; and her granddaughter, Cynthia Wommack.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Paducah with Bro. Charles Frazier officiating. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
