Betty “Bea” Beasley, 80, of Paducah passed away at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker and member of Sunny Slope Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Milam of Paducah; three grandchildren, Mitchell Jones of Mayfield, Bradley Jones of Conway, N.C., and Adam Jones of Mayfield; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Acree Beasley; her daughter, Sheila Fay Beasley Jones; sister, Becky Whitis; two brothers, Robert J. McElya and Tommy McElya.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak, with Michael Wood, Darrell Jones, and Robin Mizell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
