MURRAY — Beth Page Belote, 91, of Murray died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home.
She was a retired French teacher from Mayfield High School; a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Murray, where she served as an Elder; and a member of Presbyterian Women, the PEO international philanthropic organization and Delta Kappa Gamma international education organization. She was a graduate of Bethel Women’s College in Hopkinsville, University of Kentucky in Lexington, and earned her master’s & Rank I certification at Murray State University.
She is survived by three daughters, Marion O’Rourke of Murray, Jane Spadafino of Jackson, N.J., and Emily Gilliam of Henderson; one son, Dr. John Belote of Syracuse, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. Belote; one sister; and two brothers. Her parents were Dr. M.W and Era Maud Hammon Page.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church of Murray. Rev. Ann Marie Montgomery will officiate.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
