MURRAY — Services for Beatrice E. Bleemel, 88, of Murray, formerly of Louisville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Leo Catholic Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Jason McClure will officiate. Entombment will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bleemel died Wednesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She was a former employee of Dupont.
Mrs. Bleemel is survived by five daughters, Barbara Thomas of Walton, Beatrice Craven of Hardinsburg, Ind., Becky Burnett of Louisville, Bernice Casper of Murray and Bonnie Chambers of Almo; a son, Bertrand Bleemel Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas; a brother, Joe Nauert of Louisville; three sisters, Mary Catherine Redmon, Mary Perpetua and Teresa Ellsworth; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bertrand Bleemel; three sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Imes-Miller Funeral Home in Murray, where Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. today.
