Miranda Jo Barnett and Jeremy Lee Reed will be united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday at Eddyville First Baptist Church in Eddyville. A reception will follow at The Carson Center in Paducah.

Miss Barnett is the daughter of Randy Barnett of Eddyville and the late Brenda Barnett. She is the granddaughter of Dale White of Eddyville and the late Jason White, and Marlin and Dottie Robertson of Eddyville and the late George Barnett. She is a 2001 graduate of Lyon County High School in Eddyville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2005, a master’s degree in special education/learning and behavior disorders and a master’s degree in moderate to severe disabilities, all from Murray State University. She is employed by the Graves County Board of Education.

Mr. Reed is the son of Patricia Reed of Louisville and the late Darrell Reed. He is the grandson of the late Walter and Marie Bindner Sr. He is a 1995 graduate of Valley High School in Louisville and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2000 and a master’s of business administration degree, both from the University of Kentucky. He is employed by Wacker Chemical.
