Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown of Princeton and Mr. and Mrs. John Bard of Kathleen, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly Bard, to Dustin Lee Groves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyndall Groves of Benton.
Miss Bard is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Woods of Trenton, and John Bard of Eddyville and the late Ruby Bard. She is a 2002 graduate of Caldwell County High School in Princeton and a 2007 graduate of Murray State University. She is employed in the Administrative Office of the Courts with the Drug Court Program in Calloway and Marshall counties.
Mr. Groves is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Don York of Benton, and Mr. and Mrs. Louie Lee Groves of Benton. He is a 2002 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2004 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He is employed by Jackson Purchase Energy Corp.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Feb. 12 at Northside Baptist Church in Princeton. All friends and relatives are invited.
