Amber Rose Ballard and Clay Willis Barnes will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Calvert City. A reception will follow at 6 p.m. at the St. John Knights of Columbus Hall in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited.

Miss Ballard is the daughter of Richard and Carmela Ballard of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Futrell of Paducah, Charles and Margaret Ballard of Paducah, and the late Cecil Futrell. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Mary High School and earned an associate degree in arts and an associate degree in science in 2010 from West Kentucky Community and Technical College. She is an alumna of Phi Beta Kappa and is employed at Bradshaw and Weil, Inc.

Mr. Barnes is the son of Randy and Alieta Barnes of Benton. He is the grandson of Gerald and Diana Wiles of Benton, and Joe Pete and Geraldean Barnes of Benton. He is a 2008 graduate of Eastwood Christian Academy. He is self-employed at Pro Mowin’ Property Management.
