On August 27, 2011, Audrey Lee Alexander and David Marcus Sparks were united in marriage by Rev. T.L. Futral and Rev. Sidney Sparks. The wedding was celebrated at Paducah Holiness Church in Paducah.

The bride is the daughter of James and Cara Alexander of Kevil. She is the granddaughter of Alma Caldwell and the late Larry Caldwell of Kevil, and Leona Alexander and the late Eldrie Alexander of West Paducah.

The groom is the son of Mitchell and Cathy Sparks of Richmond, Ky. He is the grandson of Rev. Sidney and Esther Sparks and Jerry and Jessie Rose of Richmond.

Music was provided by Roger Hayes, pianist of Kevil. Vocalists were Christal Mason, Fred Hunt and Duane Sikes, all of Paducah.

The bride chose Miss Laura Sparks of Richmond, sister of the groom, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Leah Swanson of Ledbetter, Miss Gabrielle Gilles of Evansville, Ind., and Miss Kristen Mangino of Paducah. Flower girl was Miss Madison Sanson, cousin of the bride and daughter of Alan and Heather Sanson of West Paducah.

Bible bearers were Ethan Sanson, cousin of the bride and son of Alan and Heather Sanson of West Paducah, and Isaiah Sparks, cousin of the groom and son of Ike and Teresa Sparks of Richmond.

The groom chose Lester Sparks of Irvine and Daniel Webb of Richmond as best men. Groomsmen were Cody Sparks of Irvine and Zach Carraway of Richmond. Ushers were Alan Sanson of West Paducah and Ike Sparks of Richmond.

The ceremony and the exchange of Bibles was officiated by Rev. T.L. Futral. Rev. Sidney Sparks officiated the Unity Sand Ceremony followed by Christal Mason and Fred Hunt singing, “When God Made You.” The Blessing of the Marriage and Prayer was given by Rev. Sidney Sparks. Duane Sikes sang “God Gave Me You” for the recessional.

A reception followed at Paducah Holiness Church Fellowship Hall with the following servers: Tammy Caldwell and Marilyn Sollenberger of Kevil, Anna Gourley and Amy Harp of Cunningham and Shavonna Bullock of Ledbetter.

Guest register attendants were the groom’s cousins, Angela and Christina Sparks of Richmond, Ky., and Bethany Barrett of Richmond, Ind.

After a photo session at the church and at Whitehaven, the couple left for a honeymoon in Panama City Beach, Fla.

The bride is a 2011 inaugural graduate of Commonwealth Middle College-Heath High School. She attends Bluegrass Community and Technical College of Lexington. She is employed by Kids Kingdom Child Care Center of Richmond.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Christian Liberty Academy and is employed by Uncle Charlie’s Meats of Richmond.

The couple reside in Waco, Ky.
