MARION — Arville Ray Collins, 60, of Marion died Wednesday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was a coal miner and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Collins; one son, Larry A. Collins of Marion; one daughter, Amy R. Collins of Marion; one stepdaughter, Michel Vagts of Eddyville; two brothers, William Collins and Steve Collins, both of Marion; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Arville and Louise Watson Collins.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Home, with burial in Repton Cemetery with military rites. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home
