Sandra Armstrong Addison of Mayfield announces the engagement of her daughter, Kara Armstrong, to Alan Colburn Jr., son of Linda Colburn of Mayfield and the late Alan Colburn Sr.
Miss Armstrong is the granddaughter of Reg and Eula Armstrong of Madisonville and the late John and Jean Simpkins. She is a graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and a graduate of Murray State University in Murray. She is employed by Omni Visions Foster Care Agency in Paducah.
Mr. Colburn is the grandson of Norm Davis of Mayfield and the late Virginia Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Colburn of Muskegon, Mich. He is a graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and Southwestern Assembly of God University in Dallas. He is employed by Four Rivers Behavioral Health in Paducah.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Feb. 12 at Community Fellowship Baptist Church in Hickory. All friends and relatives are invited.
