Marty and Becky Arant of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Michelle Arant, to John Tyler Ray Edwards, son of Craig and Robin Edwards of Benton.

Miss Arant is the granddaughter of Annis Arant of Benton and the late Ted Arant, and the late Oran and Emma Henson. She is a 2008 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2012 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College.

Mr. Edwards is the grandson of Bub and Glenda Myers of Benton, Johnny Edwards of Hardin, and Doug and Gayle Edwards of Hardin. He is a 2008 graduate of Marshall County High School.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13 in an outside ceremony at Hardin Baptist Church in Hardin. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
