HOUSTON — Andrea Lenette White and Byron Gregory Williams were united in marriage April 21 at New Light Christian Center Church-East in Houston with the Rev. Darell Foster officiating. Music was provided by Michael Mossel of Houston, vocalist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fisher White of Houston.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Edmonds of Paducah, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Williams of Atlanta.
The bride chose Mrs. Alysia Williams of Nashville, Tenn., as her matron of honor. Ms. Lynn White of Washington, D.C., sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Patrice Richardson of South Carolina; and Miss Antoinette White of Houston and Mrs. Stephanie Buchanan of Topeka, Kan., both sisters of the bride. Serving as flower girls were Miss Taryn Joy Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terence C. Williams Sr. of Houston; and Miss Kassie Loftis, daughter of James Loftis of Dallas. Ringbearer was Terence Christopher Williams II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terence C. Williams Sr. of Houston.
The groom chose his brother, Terence C. Williams Sr., as his best man. Groomsmen were Ahmon Williams of New York City, Derek Vaughn of Chandler, Ariz., and Martin Vaughn and Gerard Vaughn, both of Atlanta. Serving as ushers and candlelighters were Martin White of Houston and Jordan Hall of Plantation, Fla.
A reception followed at Crown Plaza River Oakes in Houston. Kortney Williams of Paducah, Ky., Francell Jones of Houston and Latoya Henderson of El Paso attended the guest registry.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Cy Creek High School in Houston and a 2006 graduate of Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. She is employed by the City of Houston.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School in Paducah, Ky., and earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management/civil technology in 2005 from the University of Houston. He is employed by Forum Energy Technologies-Subsea Division and is also the owner of Honesty Construction Group.
They reside in Houston.
