LEXINGTON — Allen Maxwell Wallace, 92, of Lexington, Ky., died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center.

Born November 5, 1920, in Sharpe, Ky., he was the son of Bibb G. and Laura Belle Johnston Wallace.

He retired from University of Kentucky where he worked as an Agriculture Research Specialist. A US Army veteran of WWII, he was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church.

His wife, Rachel Rowland Wallace; and brothers, Curtis and Billy Wallace, preceded him in death.

He is survived by a sister, Frieda Howard of Bloomingdale, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Richmond Place, 3051 Rio Dosa Dr., at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24th.
