BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Franklin of Benton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 28.

Mr. Franklin and the former Barbara June McGregor were married May 28, 1952, in Corinth, Miss.

Mrs. Franklin is the daughter of the late Guy R. and Louise McGregor.

Mr. Franklin is retired from Air Products. He is the son of the late Alfred and Velva Franklin.

They have three children: Gregory L. Franklin of Paducah, and Gloria Lee Franklin and Gina Howes, both of Benton; and five grandchildren.
