CADIZ — Agnes Stephens Ligon, 96, of Cadiz died Monday at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.

She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

She is survived by two nieces, Paulette Calhoun of Cadiz and Louise Dunford of Virginia; and a nephew, Clyde Stephens of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Archie Ligon; three brothers and three sisters.

Her parents were William Robert and Eliza Ethel Sanders Stephens.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs with the Rev. Greg Wells officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz.
