Chris Haskell, a special lecturer in educational technology at Boise State, co-developed a game based learning management system called 3D Game Lab. 'Rather than every student completing the same process to get through a course we create a pool of activities that they can choose from and make their own way through the curriculum,' said Haskell. 'You make the class a game, it has a winning condition that is reachable by every player but the path might be different.'
