Harvey Clanahan

MOUND CITY, Ill. - Harvey Lee Clanahan, 71, of Mound City died Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was a commercial painter before his retirement.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Mound City United Methodist Church and Cairo Elks Lodge No. 651.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Clanahan; a daughter, Ann Roegge of Springfield, Ill.; three sons, Steve Clanahan of South Fulton, Tenn., David Clanahan of Mound City, and Dr. Todd Clanahan of Pekin; a sister, Nancy Keistler of America, Ill.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother. His parents were Milas and Mildred Adams Clanahan.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo with the Rev. Buddy Walls officiating. Burial will follow in U.S. National Cemetery in Mound City. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at the funeral home.
