WICKLIFFE -- William "Billy Hop" Howle, 90, of Wickliffe died Monday, May 15, 2017, at Life Care of La Center.
He served in the United States Army; worked as a construction electrician; was an IBEW Local 816 member for 65 years; served on the Ballard County School Board for 20 years; and was a member of Wickliffe First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anita Rollins Howle of Wickliffe; his daughters, Tina Forrester of La Center and Hollye Taylor of Olive Branch, Mississippi; his sons, Preston Howle of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Brady Howle of Memphis, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were Edward Hopkins Howle and Myrtle Duley Howle.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at Wickliffe First Baptist Church. The Rev. Lynn Releford will officiate. Burial will follow in Wickliffe City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremations Services of Wickliffe, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
