CLINTON -- Mr. Jerry Moss Berry Sr., age 93, of Clinton, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at his residence.
He was a member of Clinton First United Methodist Church, a WWII Army Veteran, and Owner and Operator of Berry-Whitford Livestock and Independent Rendering Company.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rose Fulghum Berry of Clinton; daughter, Libby Berry (Reece) Lester of Dalton, Georgia; son, Jerry M. Berry Jr. of Clinton; son, Richard M. (Stacie) Berry of Mayfield; daughter, Melissa B. (Brian) Gentry of Greenbrier, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Linda Ernst of Dyersburg, Tennessee; 2 stepsons, Richard (Susan) Dycus Jr. of Cynthiana, Kentucky, and Robert Dycus of Lexington, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Brown and Elizabeth Spicer Berry; first wife, Marjorie Moore Berry; infant son, Michael Franklin Berry; daughter, Mary Lynn Berry; brother, James Spicer "Jimmy" Berry; and sister, Mary Sue McKendree.
Private Family Service will be held.
