Gary Neil Ford, 74, of Paducah died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
He was a therapist/mental health specialist and retired from the Department of Social Services. He was the founder of the 180 Degree Club, a faith-based program designed to reach struggling alcoholics and drug addicts. He sang with local quartets. He was a deacon at Spring Bayou Baptist Church before joining First Baptist Church-Daytona.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye Frazier Ford; two daughters, Tammy Vaughn of Paducah and Cindy Hitt of Grand Rivers; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; siblings, Janice Bowers of Murray, Chester Blaine Ford of Indianapolis, and Doug Ford of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Chester and Doris Futrell Ford.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with the Revs. Wes Morehead and Mark Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
