Charles Marvin Fondaw

Charles Marvin Fondaw, 83, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2017, at The Waters of Martinsville Nursing Home, Martinsville, Indiana.

Marvin, as he was known, was born in Paducah on September 29, 1933. A graduate of Augusta Tilghman, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years before employment at City Refrigeration Service of Paducah. A hard-working and honest businessman, Marvin served the Paducah community for many years as the sole proprietor and manager of City Refrigeration. Marvin was a longtime member of Lone Oak Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patsy Ruth Miller Fondaw of Paducah, Kentucky; his two sons, Keith Fondaw and wife Melissa of Martinsville, Indiana, and Jeffrey Fondaw and wife Judith of Olympia, Washington; and two grandchildren, Emily Ruth and Sarah Marie Fondaw.

No memorial services are scheduled at this time.
