Janice Pritchett

CALVERT CITY -- Ms. Janice Jourden Pritchett, 70, of Calvert City, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Ms. Pritchett was born on February 18, 1947, in Calvert City, Kentucky, to the late Ray Jourden and Johnnie Farley Jourden. She was a Library Director in Crittenden County, Kentucky, and was of Church of Christ faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Hall.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Pritchett (Becky) of Calvert City, Kentucky; a brother, Gene Jourden of Murray; a niece, Stacy Vincenti; a nephew, Robert Jourden; and four grandchildren, Ashley Dowdy, Shelby Pritchett, Brandon Dowdy and Hannah Pritchett.

The funeral service is set for 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray with Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the funeral home.
