Patsy Dawson

Staff report

WEST VIOLA -- Patsy Mae Dawson, 81, of West Viola died at 10:35 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at her home.

She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and a retired hairdresser.

Mrs. Dawson is survived by her husband, Johnny Dawson of West Viola; two sons, Ranne Dawson of Cloverdale, Indiana, and Bart Dawson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Cindy Lynn Gunn of Crofton; two sisters, DeAnna Phelps of Calvert City and Nancy Berkley of Mayfield; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Morris and Lucille Ferguson Gorrell.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, March 19, 2017, at Pottsville Church of Christ Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Queen officiating.

Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service time on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002.

Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of the arrangements.
