Hazel Peck

Staff report

MURRAY -- Hazel Nell Burkeen Peck, 87, of Murray, formerly of Fairdealing, died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Spring Creek Health & Rehab Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Peck Hargrove of Murray; son, Dennis Franklin Peck of Benton; sister, Faye Hendrickson of Paducah; brothers, Tommy Burkeen of Tatumsville, Johnny Dale Burkeen of Benton and Buel Burkeen of Benton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hurley Peck; nine siblings; and a son, Ernest Wade Peck. Her parents were Jess Franklin Burkeen and Leona Dismore Burkeen.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
