Janice Faye Porter

BARLOW -- Janice Faye Porter, age 76, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, March 10, 2017, at 6:42 p.m. at Life Care Center of La Center.

She was born January 25, 1941, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Clara Keeton. She worked as a lab technician at service master for several years.

She was a member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Donnie Porter (D'Sha) of Wickliffe, Kentucky, and David Porter of Barlow, Kentucky; two daughters, Cathy Drummond (Chris) of Barlow, Kentucky, and Rene Watwood of Fort Morgan, Colorado; one brother, David Keeton of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Margaretta Greathouse of Russellville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Logan Drummond, Chase Drummond, Madeline Watwood, Katilyn Gossom and Addy Gossom; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Drummond, Farren Kate Drummond and Oliver Drummond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Porter; and her mother, Clara Keeton.

Visitation for Janice Porter will be Sunday, March 12 ,2017, beginning at noon until service time at 2 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center with the Rev. Scott Fickes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery, Barlow, Kentucky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ballard County Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 508, Barlow, KY 42024.
