Betty Ann York

BENTON -- Betty Ann York, 73, of Benton, Kentucky, died on Monday, March 6, 2017, at her home.

She was a homemaker and member of Olive United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Edward York of Benton, Kentucky; son, Jeff York of Benton, Kentucky; daughters, Lesa Colburn and husband Steve of Calvert City, Kentucky, and Teressa Cutsinger and husband Scott of Calvert City, Kentucky; brothers, Billy Joe Gordon of Benton, Kentucky, and Gary Gordon of Benton, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Josh Colburn of Texas, Kayla Austin and husband Tyler of Bardwell, Kentucky, and Rease York of Benton, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Elise (Chandler) Gordon; son, Jimmy Euen York; brother, Buddy Gordon; and sister, Loretta "Dimple" Rogers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at Collier Funeral Chapel, located at 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, KY 42025, with the Rev. Rick Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Olive United Methodist Church, 3975 Old Olive Road, Hardin, KY 42048; or Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002.
