Christian Fellowship students qualify for DECA international competition

BRIENSBURG — Eleven Christian Fellowship High School students recently competed in the DECA Kentucky State Conference in Louisville. Approximately 1,100 students from all over the state competed in approximately 60 events.

Edie Little placed first in the Kentucky Retailing Concepts event while Elijah Toth and Jordan Vaughn placed first in the National event of Financial Services Team Decision Making. Jesse Covey and Blayne Starkey qualified for international competition in Sports and Entertainment Team Decision Making. These four will compete at the international level in Anaheim, California, on April 25-30. International competition includes approximately 17,000 students competing from all 50 states and countries outside the United States.
