Comer seeks art entries for competition

Staff report

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. James Comer is seeking entries for the 2017 Congressional Art Competition. Comer encourages all eligible students to participate.

The Artistic Discovery Contest is open to all high school students in the First Congressional District. The winning artwork of the district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The winning artwork also will be featured on House.gov's Congressional Art Competition page.

All entries are due by May 3. Entries can be sent to any of Comer's three district offices: Paducah, Madisonville or Tompkinsville. For more information on where exactly to send them, you can visit Comer's website and the art competition page located here.

If you have any questions, call the Tompkinsville office at 270-487-9509.
