KentuckyCare clinic to open in Graves County

Staff report

KentuckyCare will open a clinic in Graves County on Tuesday.

The family practice clinic will be at 211 S. 8th St. in Mayfield. It will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

"We are excited to expand the KentuckyCare mission of Health for All into Mayfield and Graves County," said Emerson Goodwin, corporate region director for KentuckyCare. "We look forward to building lasting relationships in the community and serving Mayfield and the surrounding area with quality health care."

No one is turned away from a KentuckyCare clinic.

Though not a free clinic, KentuckyCare serves those with insurance, those with not enough insurance and those who are not covered. It also provides insurance care managers who will help those uninsured find available coverage.

"KentuckyCare opening in Mayfield expands our ability to provide personal, tailored medical care throughout the Purchase Region and is in keeping with our short term vision to have medical centers serving every county in the region," said Dr. Steven Collier, CEO of ARcare/KentuckyCare. "We are proud to be opening our fifth Family Medical Center while celebrating our fifth anniversary providing Health for All in Kentucky."
