Man wanted for attempted murder in Livingston County

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted in connection with a shooting Feb. 26 on Lola Road just north of Salem.

Deputies said Christopher "Critter" Curnel, 27, is considered armed and dangerous.

He is wanted on charges of attempted murder, first-degree wanton endangerment and theft by unlawful taking over $500.

Deputies said Curnel may be driving a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 that is dark blue with light blue trim and a "primer gray" tailgate. The truck also has an LED light bar between its headlights and Kentucky plates with the number 389LKJ.

The sheriff's office said Curnel is 5-foot-9, white, 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Curnel's whereabouts can contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Office at 270-928-2112 or Kentucky State Police at 800-222-5555. Tipsters can also contact Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL.
