Deputies arrested two people Monday following two separate investigations involving a stolen firearm and drugs.
According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, Justin Harrison, 34, of Mayfield, was taken into custody after it was determined a firearm in his possession had been stolen.
Deputies said Harrison was previously arrested on drug and firearm charges, during which he was found to be in possession of a defaced firearm.
Information regarding the defaced firearm was passed on to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which traced the gun and determined it was stolen, the sheriff's department said.
Harrison was charged with receiving stolen property and taken to Graves County Jail.
Later that same day, deputies said, Harrison's mother, Teresa Manning, 55, of Mayfield, was arrested on drug charges.
Deputies said they responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence on Ky. 1710 and searched the home, allegedly finding methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Manning was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
