Paducah Chamber to mark75th anniversary with dinner

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 75th anniversary at its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. The event's theme is "A Party in the Making for 75 Years!" and the presenting sponsors are Lourdes and CSI.

Past chairmen of the Chamber board will be recognized, and a video is being produced to feature highlights of the Chamber's accomplishments.

Awards will be presented for the Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Leadership Paducah Alumni of the Year.

The gavel will pass from 2013 Chairman Lynn King of Lourdes hospital to 2014 Chairwoman Deborah Edmonds, Edmonds Gallery. New officers and board members will be recognized.

The entertainment following the meeting will be provided by The Terry Mike Jeffrey Band.  The emcee for the evening will be Suzanne Farmer with Lourdes and Mike Mallory with WPSD-News Channel 6.  

The reservation deadline is 5 p.m. Monday. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets cost $75 for members and $125 for non-members.  Corporate sponsorships or reserved tables of eight for $1,000 are available by contacting the chamber.
