Staff report

A Paducah man was arrested Wednesday after deputies allegedly found drugs in his possession during a traffic stop.

McCracken County deputies initiated the traffic stop on Husbands Road and talked with the driver, Michael Draffen, 22.

During the stop, deputies said, Draffen admitted he was in possession of a marijuana pipe. Deputies then searched Draffen, allegedly finding marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Draffen was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to maintain required insurance.
