Horton Fruit, of Louisville, issued a recall Friday of select bags and containers of spinach because of potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
There have been no reports of illnesses related to the recalled products, Horton reported.
The products are the 10-ounce bag of PEAK brand Fresh Curly Leaf spinach; 10-ounce bag of Harris Teeter Farmer's Market brand ready-to-eat leaf spinach; and the 2.5-pound bag of PEAK brand fresh spinach.
The products were distributed in Kentucky, Illinois, West Virginia and North Carolina.
The company reported partner suppliers and an internal investigation revealed potential contamination of Listeria.
Anyone who purchased the products can return them to the store of purchase for a refund, the company stated.
