Keaton and Max Pittard

Staff report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sara Keaton Lehning and Max William Pittard were united in marriage Oct. 1, 2016, at Green Door Gourmet in Nashville with the Rev. Carter Crenshaw officiating. Scripture reader was Laura Alexander of Nashville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Lehning of Nashville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Olyne Lehning of Nashville, and the late Robert Lehning Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ezell.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Pittard of Paducah. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Lott, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Pittard.

The bride chose Mrs. Mary Margaret McCord of Washington, D.C., as her matron of honor, and Miss Jennifer Geny of Nashville as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Katelyn Brown, Miss Sarah Denson, Mrs. Brooke Riebeling, Miss Mattie Smith and Mrs. Karen Wolfson, all of Nashville; Miss Leah Coury of New York City; Miss Grace Pittard, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Lindsay Rader, both of Memphis.

Flower girls were Miss Alexandra Herndon and Miss Isabelle Herndon, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Herndon of Arlington, Virginia, and Miss Lucy Prather, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Prather of Nashville. Ringbearer was Sam Prather, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Prather of Nashville.

The groom chose his brother, Charlie Pittard of Memphis, as his best man. Groomsmen were Drew Carney, Tyler Moore, Gray Palmer and Jake Wallace, all of Nashville; Ben Lehning, Clay Lehning and Kyle Lehning, all of Nashville and brothers of the bride; Blake Scowden and Jay Smith, both of Paducah.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of David Lipscomb High School and a 2010 graduate of Lipscomb University. She is employed by White's Mercantile in Nashville.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Mississippi. He is employed by HCA in Nashville.

The couple resides in Nashville.
