Staff report

Richard and Carmela Ballard of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Sally Beth Ballard, to Robert "Bo" Howard Overcast, son of Tracy Miller of Puryear, Tennessee, and Keith and Rachel Overcast of Dexter.

Miss Ballard is the granddaughter of Margaret Futrell of Paducah and the late Cecil Futrell, and Charles and Margaret Ballard of Paducah. She is a 2013 graduate of St. Mary High School and a 2015 graduate of West Kentucky Community and Technical College with an associate degree in arts. She is pursuing a degree in agricultural animal science with an emphasis in equine management from Murray State University. She is employed by Ballard's Tack & Supply in Paducah.

Mr. Overcast is the grandson of Prentice and Louritta Duncan of Dexter, and the late Robert "Bob" Steelman Sr. He is a 2010 graduate of Henry County High School in Paris, Tennessee, and a 2012 graduate of Missouri Auctioneer School in St. Louis. He is employed by Dairyman's Supply Co. in Mayfield.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited.
