Special Services

Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church will host a gospel celebration at 4 p.m. Saturday in memory of Sister Valerie E. Newsome. Theme will be "God Has Not Forgot!" All proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army, Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club and the Paducah Day Nursery. The church is at 1201 S. 8th St.

Fellowship

Concord United Methodist Church, 5178 Hinkleville Road, Paducah will have a country breakfast buffet from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Menu includes country ham, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, jellies, coffee, milk and orange juice. Everyone is invited. The breakfast is sponsored by the United Methodist Men of Concord. For details call the church office, 270-443-2669.

Miles Chapel C.M.E., 762 Levins Ave., Paducah, will have a barbecue chicken plate dinner sale starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Plate dinners are $8. The church will also have a free community outreach with varied items.

Radio Ministry

"Words to Ponder a Second Time Around" with minister JoAnn Green on LifeTalk 1450 AM, 11 a.m. Saturdays. Thirty minutes of inspirational words and music praising God. Also listen online at westkentuckystar.com.
