Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Bloomfield Ave., Paducah will hold a Pre-Anniversary Service for the Rev. Alfred Anderson at 3 p.m. Sunday. Special guest will be the Rev. Michael Pryor and House of Hope Church.


Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church, 300 Fountain Ave., Paducah will have a community breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. For more information call 270-443-1724.

The Rev. Terry White, Bishop of Kentucky, will conduct the 10 a.m. service at Grace Episcopal Church, 820 Broadway, Paducah on Sunday. He will also accept new members into the Episcopal Church during the service. The Rev. Charles Uhlik of Grace will be assisting. Refreshments will follow the worship hour. Bandana Baptist Church will host Dr. Morris L. Anderson of Maryville, Tennessee, in a four-day revival beginning Sunday with services at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Anderson will also preach Monday through Wednesday beginning at 6:30. There will be a different theme each day beginning with "Pack The Church" Sunday morning. Monday evening there will be hot dogs for children and ladies are asked to fill a pew. Tuesday night is men's night and Wednesday night the youth will enjoy pizza starting at 6 p.m. Anderson is president and founder of MANNA Ministries, where he conducts pastors' retreats, missions trips, and is also the founder of Morris Anderson Outdoors.

Mount Zion M.B. Church Sisterhood, 1213 Walter Jetton Blvd., will hold its annual Shoe Rally at 6 p.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be Pastor William Glore and the Mount Olive Baptist Church of Colp, Il. Host pastor is the Rev. Michael J. Wade.

The Purchase District of the United Methodist Church will hold its annual Choir Fest to benefit Reelfoot Rural Ministries at 6 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton. Choirs and praise teams from the Calvert City, Clinton First, Fountain Avenue, Fulton First, Mayfield First and Trinity United Methodist Churches are scheduled to participate. Also, a mass choir of those groups and people from Cayce, Crutchfield, Wingo-St. Paul, Symsonia, Lebanon, South Pleasant Grove, Mt. Olive, New Liberty, Arcadia, Massac and Hazel United Methodist Churches will sing, directed by Josh Gatlin, choir director of Fulton First UMC. Robert Craig, director of Reelfoot Rural Ministries, will speak. Donations will be accepted for Reelfoot Rural Ministries, a United Methodist ministry in Obion, Tennessee, which aids residents of Tennessee and Kentucky.

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 6th and Broadway, Paducah on Thursday, April 27 and Friday April 28 will offer a quilt display and meal for $8. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. If you have questions, contact susant42001@gmail.com or 270-217-3299.
