Staff report

Sarah Shelton, Paducah native and licensed clinical psychologist, has been re-elected to a second four-year term on the board of directors for the National Register of Health Service Providers in Washington. She is one of seven psychologists from across the nation who comprise the board. The national register distinguishes licensed clinical psychologists with specialized education and training in the provision of health services. Shelton holds a number of advanced degrees, including a master of science degree in clinical psychology from Murray State University, a doctorate in clinical health psychology from Spalding University, a master of public health from the Medical College of Georgia, and a post-doctoral master of science degree in psychopharmacology from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Leanne Gibbs has been named employee of the quarter at The Murray Bank. Gibbs is a full-time teller at bank, and was recognized for her performance in all aspects of her job. The award is voted on by the bank's employees.

Nathan Crawford, Salem, has been promoted to senior accountant for Kemper CPA Group, LLP, in Paducah. Before joining Kemper in 2015, he worked for York, Neel & Co. He has a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Murray State University.

Zac Rambo, Paducah, has been promoted to senior accountant for Kemper CPA Group, LLP in Paducah. He joined Kemper in 2014. He has a bachelor's degree and MBA from Murray State University.

Sandy Miles, Murray State University faculty member and Hutchens Distinguished Professor of Management in the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business, was recently selected to the international Human Resources Certification Institute board of directors. HRCI is regarded as the premier credentialing organization for the human resources profession. Miles has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a master's and doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
